A study reveals the federal government has subsidized farming efforts in Wisconsin with more than 10 billion dollars over the 16 years ending in 2020. Wisconsin ranks 16th among the states when it comes to federal dollars received to support farming efforts. The three Wisconsin programs getting the most money are corn subsidies, conservation reserve programs, and dairy programs. Texas has received the most U-S-D-A funding and Iowa is second.
