Grant County officials are seeking assistance from the public regarding chainsaws stolen from a Fennimore business. According to a release from the sheriff’s office, someone broke into a truck that is owned by Zielies Tree Service. The theft happened between Thursday evening and Monday morning. The suspect damaged a storage box and stole 6 Stihl chainsaws. Investigators say evidence appears to show the suspect knew where the saws were located. If anyone has info about this theft, you’re asked to contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Department.
