Officials with Grant County Emergency Management say they need volunteers Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8a til 4p. According to a social media update, volunteers should report to the Boscobel Fire Station to register. If you’re coming from out of town, call first 608 – 375 – 5001. The primary need for volunteers is cleaning up debris on private property plus moving personal and household possessions for affected families. There’s a need for volunteers to help with cutting and removing trees too from private property and the Boscobel Cemetery. Volunteers for tree cutting must bring your own saws and protective equipment. Grant County Emergency Management is also seeking volunteers with heavy equipment for removing tree debris from yards.
