The Grant County Sheriff’s Office, along with Lancaster Fire and EMS were notified of a vehicle submerged in a stream at Badger Road and Meadow Brook Lane in Little Grant Township Sunday morning around 7:15am. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found an unoccupied, 2012 BMW, which was submerged in the stream. While emergency crews were at the scene, the driver of the car, 25 year old Adam Estrada of Belvidere, Illinois called the Sheriff’s Office to report the crash. Estrada told authorities stated the crash occurred Saturday night, around 10:30 P.M. Estrada was cited for Failure to Notify Police of an Accident, Hit & Run property adjacent to a roadway, and Failure to Maintain control. The vehicle was a total loss and was removed from the scene by Arrow Towing of Lancaster.
