Two Gays Mills area men are facing burglary charges. According to a Crawford County Sheriff’s Office release, 31-year-old Zachary George of Petersburg and 26-year-old Brandon Mohr of Gays Mills were identified as suspects in thefts from area storage facilities. Authorities discovered the two in possession of thousands of dollars worth of stolen property. The sheriff’s report says some of the stolen items were also being transported to a home in Grant County. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office assisted in stopping the suspected vehicle and recovering the other stolen property. George and Mohr are being referred to the Crawford County DA’s office for multiple charges. The burglaries remain under investigation as other suspects have been identified in the case.
