Wisconsin quarterback Mertz looks to prove himself

MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin’s “prove it” year opens on Saturday against Penn State, and one Badger looking to prove himself is quarterback Graham Mertz.

“There was some stuff that I was just not good at,” Mertz said Friday. “A lot more of a complete quarterback on every aspect is what I’m wanting to put on film.”

The Badgers kick off their season at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
