Grant County Sheriff Deputies and the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a physical domestic dispute last Thursday around 7:30pm at a residence along Highway 61 in Marion Township. Upon arrival, deputies found 47 year old Jessie Kellogg Sr. of Boscobel intoxicated and had assaulted two people at the residence. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office report, Kellogg was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. As Kellogg was being taken into custody, he pulled away from a sheriff deputy and a state trooper. Kellogg grabbed one of the sheriff deputies and was directed to the ground. Kellogg was given several commands to stop resisting, which he refused to comply. A taser was used on Kellogg and he was taken into custody. Kellogg was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest and was taken to the Grant County Jail. The matter will be referred to the Grant County District Attorney’s Office.
