Highway 78 between Black Earth and Mazomanie was closed for about 3 hours Sunday because of a structure fire. The road was closed in both directions between County Road Y and Racek Road. Officials say the fire was spreading to a nearby wooded area. Fire crews from Black Earth and Mazomanie responded to the fire shortly after 1pm Sunday. The area has since been cleared and the road is now open.
