Crawford County Health Official Resigns

A public health officer in southwest Wisconsin is stepping down from her role. Crawford County officials say Cindy Riniker’s last day on the job will be October 1st. Riniker submitted her resignation after holding the post for nearly 3-and-a-half years. An interim public health officer was named Wednesday (9/15) at a county health committee meeting. Lisa Kennicker will take over the role for Riniker. Kennicker has served as a public health nurse in Crawford County for the last 6 years.
