Kindrai Survives Attempt To Remove Him As Health Department Director

A motion by a Grant County Supervisor to remove Jeff Kindrai as the County Health Department Director has failed. The motion by District 8 Supervisor Pat Schroeder of Lancaster followed a closed session of the board of supervisors regarding Kindrai’s job performance. The closed session last just over an hour. The motion by Schroeder failed due to the lack of a second by another supervisor. Kindrai has been the Grant County Health Department Director for 17 years.
