Intoxicated Driver Crashes Into Power Pole in Lafayette County

Authorities in Lafayette County say a man who was driving while intoxicated struck a utility pole on Thursday in Darlington. 32 year old Camron Zywicki of Darlington, did not report any injuries as a result of the crash. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened at about 4:45 a.m. Thursday on Highway 23 in Darlington. Zywicki reported driving south on Highway 23 when he lost control of his vehicle, entered a ditch and struck a power pole. Zywicki’s vehicle had severe damage in the crash.
