Shullsburg Area Crash

One man was hospitalized with serious injuries following a crash in Shullsburg Saturday. Officials say 18-year-old Zacharia Houghton of Rockton, Illinois was driving south on State Highway 23. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office says that around 2:15p, Houghton stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Highways 11 and 23. As Houghton continued straight, his vehicle collided with a car driven by 60-year-old Richard Mosley of Darlington, who was traveling west on Highway 11. Houghton was taken by Med Flight to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Mosley reported no injuries.
