A woman had to be extricated from her vehicle after a rollover crash in Grant County on Monday. 32 year old Nicole Nelson of Blue River was taveling north on Highway 133 in Watterstown Township around 4:30pm when she attempted to pass a vehicle and lost control of her vehicle, causing it to enter the ditch line on the west side of the road. Nelcon’s vehicle crashed into the ditch, causing it to roll several times. Nelson was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated from the vehicle by the Blue River Fire Department. Nelson was taken by Blue River EMS and air lifted by Med Flight. Nelson was cited for operating after revocation, and failure to control a motor vehicle. The accident remains under investigation. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Blue River EMS, the Blue River Fire Department, Med Flight, and Terry’s Towing of Boscobel.
