Officers Revive Unresponsive Man From Drug Overdose

Officers with the Darlington Police Department responded to a residence on Highway K in Darlington for a medical emergency on Wednesday around 10:50 am. Officers found a 41 year old Darlington man unresponsive from a suspected drug overdose. Officers performed lifesaving measures, including the administration of NARCAN. The man was revived and transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County by Lafayette County EMS. The man’s name was not released.
