Sophomore Casey O’Brien scores big for Badgers

MADISON, Wis. — It’s been a fun season so far for Casey O’Brien. The sophomore has put the puck in the back of the net nine times this season.

O’Brien and the Badger Women’s Hockey team are undefeated in their first four games, outscoring opponents 27-1.

O’Brien gives credit to her linemates for her success.

“A lot of it has to do with my confidence this year,” O’Brien said. “And I’m playing with two great players this year so I just have to credit all my success to them.”

The Badgers will open up La Bahn Arena for the first time this season when they host St. Cloud State on Saturday.
