Grant County Highway Project Update

Wisconsin DOT officials say another step in the Highway 81 project is almost done. According to a social media update, stage 2 of the road-work between Platteville and Lancaster will be completed today (Oct 8). During the next stage of this project, DOT crews will install beam guards and finish up pavement markings. Roadwork on the roughly 12-mile stretch of Highway 81 began in early May. It is slated for completition in mid-to-late November this year.
