Lancaster Man Arrested In Domestic Dispute Incident

A man from Lancaster was arrested following a domestic dispute incident in Belmont. Deputies with the Lafayette Couty Sheriff’s Department responded to West Mound View Avenue in Belmont around 2am Thursday to assist the Belmont Police Department with a domestic dispute. As a result, 34 year old Julius Schaeffer of Lancaster was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct, False Imprisonment and a valid Probation and Parole Violation. Schaeffer was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.
