A man from Dubuque was arrested by Grant County authorities after a one vehicle crash with property damage that had occurred on Highway 35/61/151 in Jamestown Township Monday around 6:50pm. Deputies responded to the scene and met with the driver, 26 year old Raymond Glueck of Dubuque and his passenger, 30 year old Nicholas Baker of Dubuque. Glueck had been traveling south on Highway 61/35/151 when he swerved for an animal in the roadway. Glueck lost control of his vehicle, traveled through the median, and struck the guardrail on the northbound lanes of traffic. Both Glueck and Baker were wearing their seat belt and were not injured in the crash. Glueck’s vehicle did have minor damage. During the course of the investigation, deputies observed Glueck exhibiting signs of impairment. While conducting a search of Glueck’s vehicle, deputies found numerous drug related items and a concealed firearm. Glueck was then arrested on charges of OWI–2nd offense, Possession of THC, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
