Mineral Point School District Treasurer Dies

A longtime member of the Mineral Point Unified School District Board of Education has died. Larry Steffes, who first was elected in 2010 and was serving as the board’s treasurer, died on Monday from coronavirus complications. He was 51. Steffes also was a graduate of the Mineral Point school district.
