Members of the Platteville Area Pickleball Association will be holding open house activities this Saturday (Oct 23) at the new courts at Legion Park. According to a release, events are planned from 11 til 12:30, 2 til 3 and then from 6 til 7 on Saturday. Group members will offer a guided try-out of the ball machine on site, plus teach the public about the court’s lighting system. Officials will also explain the Pickleball Doubles Challenge Ladder. People are invited to come watch or grab a loaner paddle and play. The Sanders-Trine Pickleball Complex is at the corner of Pitt and 2nd Streets in Platteville’s Legion Park.
