Former Lancaster Police Chief Rodger Janssen passed away Monday. He was 74. Janssen was a 1966 graduate of Lancaster High School and served in the Lancaster Police Department for 31 years, with 25 years as the Chief of Police. He retired in 2000. A funeral for Rodger Janssen will be held Saturday at 1pm at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster.
