No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle crash outside of Lancaster. At around 6:30am Sunday, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two vehicle crash on Highway 129 in South Lancaster Township. 17 year old Emily Graber of Mineral Point was stopped at the stop sign at East Elm Street and Highway 129. Graber proceeded to cross Highway 129, when 43 year old Thomas Simon of Platteville approached in his vehicle and was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting Graber’s vehicle in the rear passenger side. Both vehicles ended up in the north east side of County Highway A in a ditch. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The vehicles’ were removed from the scene by Bennett’s Towing of Lancaster. Graber was cited for failure to yield right of way.
