MADISON, Wis. — While Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ teammates had his back Wednesday — at least publicly — after news broke that Rodgers had tested positive for COVID-19, football fans in Madison seemed less quick to forgive him.
Multiple reports surfaced Wednesday morning saying the star quarterback would be out for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Packers later confirmed the news, adding Rodgers to the Reserve/COVID-19 list and announcing Jordan Love will start his first NFL game in Rodgers’ place.
