Platteville Woman Arrested For Drugs in Iowa County

A woman from Platteville was arrested for drug possession following a traffic stop in Iowa County Wednesday night around 10pm. An Iowa County Deputy assisted a Village of Arena Police Officer with the traffic stop on Highway 14 in Arena. 41 year old Mellissa Garner of Platteville was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Felony Bail Jumping. Garner was taken to the Iowa County Jail where she was booked on her charges and remains in custody.
