Dodgeville Domestic Battery Arrest

A Dodgeville man was arrested early Monday after authorities were called regarding a disturbance. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office reports that Dodgeville Police and sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on West Fountain Street around 1am. Following an investigation, 36-year-old Nicholas Freeman was arrested for domestic battery as well as resisting or obstructing an officer. He was also taken into custody on a probation hold thru the state department of corrections. Freeman was booked on his charges and remains in the Iowa County Jail.
