Rewey Man Arrested For Second OWI

Iowa County authorities arrested a man from Rewey for his 2nd offense of OWI Wednesday just before midnight. Deputies with the Iowa County Sheriff’s department discovered a vehicle stopped in the roadway on County E near Linden and arrested the driver, 26 year old Lucas Zimmerman of Rewey, who was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated–2nd offense. Zimmerman was later released to a responsible party. Mineral Point EMS and Linden First Response assisted at the scene.
