Platteville Area Crash

A 41-year-old Cuba City man escaped injury after crashing his vehicle Tuesday afternoon about 6 miles west of Platteville. A Grant County Sheriff’s Office report shows Phillip Rupp was driving along Quarry Road in Harrison Township when he tried to turn on to Bennett Lane. Rupp’s vehicle went thru the intersection and over an embankment before going thru a fence and coming to rest against a tree. Rupp was not hurt in the crash, but his vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
