The National Weather Service says Saturday will be windy and colder with occasional snow; several inches of accumulation are likely – especially in eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois, where forecasters are predicting 4 to 7 inches of snow. After the snow, bitterly cold air will arrive by early Sunday and should last thru early Monday. Temps Sunday morning will be below zero, with wind chills to 20 below. High temps on Sunday will climb to 10 above, but wind chills may stay below zero all day.
