Blue Mounds Man Dies In Crash

Authorities have released the name of a man who died in a car crash in Blue Mounds on New Year’s Day. He was identified as 19-year-old Lucas Kittleson of Blue Mounds. Reports say the crash happened in the 2400 block of Highway 78 in the Town of Blue Mounds. It was reported to authorities around 3:00 a.m. Kittleson was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is still under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office.
