Jo Daviess County Sheriff Running Again

A northwest Illinois sheriff will seek a 4th term when he runs for re-election this fall. Jo Daviess County Sheriff Kevin Turner recently announced that he is running again. The 51-year-old Turner was first elected sheriff in 2010. He won re-election while running un-opposed in both 2014 and 2018. Turner has been a member of the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department since 2002. Candidates have until mid-March to file papers for county seats.
