Grant County authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Kieler that happened Tuesday morning around 10:15. According to a sheriff’s office report, 28-year-old Elizabeth Ristey of New Albin, Iowa, was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of County Highway H and triple H. At the same time, 70-year-old Terry Slater of Platteville was driving west on County Highway H. Ristey said she didn’t see Slater’s vehicle and pulled into the intersection – striking the passenger side of his truck. Ristey wasn’t hurt in the crash. Slater was taken by a private vehicle to Southwest Health in Platteville. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Alliant Energy workers in the area assisted with traffic control.
