State Senator Howard Marklein is joining State Representatives for a series of listening sessions in February. A release from Marklein shows the first round of sessions is February 7th. Senator Marklein and Representative Todd Novak will make 3 stops that day – at the Rewey Fire Department from 10 til 11, at the Shullsburg Townsend Center from 1 til 2, and lastly at the Browntown Civic Center from 3 til 4 February 7th. Marklein will then join Representative Travis Tranel February 14th from 10 til 11 at the Mount Hope Fire Department. And lastly, on February 21st, Marklein, Tranel and Representative Tony Kurtz will be at the Boaz Community Center from 11 til noon. The format for the sessions is designed for legislators to get input and ideas about issues facing residents.
