A Galena woman had to be pulled from her vehicle after hitting a tree and overturning late Wednesday. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 10:20p along South Devils Ladder Road near Galena. According to the sheriff’s report, 63-year-old Lisa Miller was driving south when she failed to negotiate a curve. Her vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned, coming to rest in the ditch. Miller was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Midwest Medical Center for treatment. She’s been cited for driving too fast for conditions.
