A woman from Asbury, Iowa sideswiped a truck belonging to Kieler Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling at around 2am Thursday in Dickeyville. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch center received a report of a two vehicle crash on South Main Street in Dickeyville. The truck was legally parked on the west side of South Main Street, facing south when 25 year old Emily Molzof of Asbury traveled on Main Street and sideswiped the truck. The impact pushed the front passenger side of the truck up and over the curb. Molzof’s vehicle came to a rest in front of the truck with the front of the vehicle facing west, leaving the rear of the vehicle in the lane of traffic in the southbound lane. Molzof’s vehicle had disabling damage to the front passenger side. The truck sustained damage to the entire driver side. Molzof left the scene and did not notify the Sheriff’s Office of the accident. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Guy’s Truck and Tractor Services. Molzof was issued a citation for Failure to Notify Law Enforcement of an Accident and Hit and Run to an Unattended Vehicle.
