Dodgeville Woman Injured In One Vehicle Crash

A woman from Dodgeville was injured in a one vehicle crash near Belmont Saturday. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s department 36 year old Jessica Peat of Dodgeville was traveling on West Mound Road in Belmont Township when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions, causing her to leave the roadway, enter a ditch, and strike a power pole. Peat had minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Peat’s vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
