Two La Crosse area men have been arrested after Crawford County authorities stopped their vehicle in Prairie du Chien. According to a release, deputies pulled over 34-year-old Shane Lancour of Onalaska around 6:30 last Thursday evening. A Prairie du Chien K9 unit assisted at the scene and detected the presence of controlled substances. Inside the vehicle, authorities found meth, THC and heroin paraphernalia. During the investigation, law enforcement also discovered that a passenger – 28-year-old Scott Skinner of La Crosse – had heroin and marijuana hidden inside his rectum. Both men were arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail.
