A woman had to be treated for smoke inhalation after a mobile home fire in the Key West area on Monday. Dubuque fire officials say the woman – who was not identified – was taken to Mercy-One Dubuque Medical Center for treatment. Crews were called around noon to the home on Monastery Drive. Firefighters extinguished the blaze in about 10 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Smoke and heat caused between $5,000 and $10,000 in damage to the property. Officials also say two children, who were inside the mobile home when the fire started, were not hurt.
