Green County Man Gets 5th OWI

A man from Green County was arrested for his 5th offense of operating while intoxicated Thursday night. According to the Green County Sheriff’s Department, 40 year old Dale Finley of Albany was traveling on Highway 59 shortly after 7pm and lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve. Finley was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his vehicle, causing injuries. He was taken by Albany EMS for medical care. In addition to a 5th OWI charge, Finely received citations for operating while suspended, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain control of his vehicle, and failure to wear a setbelt.
