Baldwin Coming to Platteville and Fennimore Monday

U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin will visit the Platteville Fire Station and Southwest Technical College in Fennimore on Monday to highlight federal funding. First, Baldwin will tour the Platteville Fire Station. Baldwin secured a $7 million investment for the fire station in federal funding legislation that was signed into law by President Biden last month. Her visit to the fire station will begin at 10am Monday. Later, Baldwin will visit the Southwest Technical College campus in Fennimore to learn about how federal funding from the American Rescue Plan is helping to address workforce needs. Baldwin will meet with the Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board beginning at 2pm Monday.
