UWP Interim Chancellor Named

The UW System has announced who will serve as UW-Platteville’s interim chancellor after Dennis Shields begins his new role. In a release, the system said Tammy Evetovich is going to take over the position as of June 1st. Evetovich currently serves as the provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs at UW-Platteville. Earlier this year, Shields had said he’d be taking over as the president of the Southern University System and Chancellor at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The UW System and UW-Platteville will begin a search for the school’s next chancellor in the coming months.
