No injuries were reported following a two vehicle crash in Lafayette County Saturday. A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to Highway 23 in Willow Springs Township around 11:30am. 31 year old Christopher Lange of Darlington was traveling east on Short Cut Road when he came to a complete stop at the stop sign. Lange left the stop sign to cross Highway 23, striking a vehicle driven by 57 year year old Michael Hildreth and his passenger, 55 year old Beth Hildreth, both of Byron, Illinois as they were traveling north on Highway 23. Both vehicles had moderate damage, and Lange’s vehicle was driven from the scene while Hildreth’s vehicle was towed. Darlington Police assisted at the scene.
