Two COVID-19-related deaths were reported in the area from April 6th to Wednesday. During the seven-day period, two COVID-19-related deaths were reported in Lafayette County in Wisconsin. There was a total of two people with COVID-19 hospitalized Wednesday at UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital and MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. The total is unchanged from one week earlier. As of Wednesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rated the COVID-19 community level as low for all area counties. Additionally, that agency gave that rating to all but two counties in Iowa; to all but one county in Wisconsin; and to all but four counties in Illinois. Nationally, 96% of counties are at the low level.
