The Department of Workforce Development reports Wisconsin’s unemployment and jobs numbers set records in March. The state’s preliminary unemployment rate dropped to an all-time low of two-point-eight percent. That sets a record. With the addition of more than 60-thousand jobs in March, the number of people employed in Wisconsin has also reached a record high. There are more jobs to be had. D-W-D Secretary-designee Amy Pechacek says there are currently 142-thousand open positions in Wisconsin for job seekers.
