A Fennimore man faces drug charges following an investigation early Friday near Belmont. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called around 1:45 a.m. to County Highway G for reports of suspicious activity. After responding to the scene, authorities arrested 34-year-old Benjamin Everson for possession of meth, bail jumping, and a probation violation. Everson was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.
