NFL Draft: Packers pick up Christian Watson in second round, Sean Rhyan in third round

The Packers traded picks 53 and 59 to the Minnesota Vikings for the 34th pick, which they used to get Watson.

During the third round later in the night, the Green and Gold picked up versatile offensive lineman Sean Rhyan. The versatile six-foot-five, 320-pounder from Ladera Ranch, California, started 12 games as left tackle for the UCLA Bruins in 2021.

Rhyan was the 92nd overall pick in the draft.

Defense was the team’s focus in the first round; the Packers drafted linebacker Quay Walker and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt with picks 22 and 28, respectively.
