The director of a Dodgeville daycare has been placed on administrative leave while authorities conduct an investigation. According to an update from officials at Saint Joseph’s, allegations had been made in mid-April regarding the director’s conduct. Dodgeville Police say the investigation began when a former employee raised concerns about abuse and neglect. Officers are continuing to investigate the allegations. A statement from Saint Joseph’s says staff will cooperate fully and assist however police see fit. Saint Joseph’s Daycare does remains open under a temporary director.
