Jo Daviess County Crash

Five people were injured, including one seriously, in a head-on crash Sunday night in Jo Daviess County. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Charles Humbert of Dubuque was extricated from his vehicle. He was then taken by ambulance to FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport with serious injuries. Also injured in the crash and taken to that hospital were four people from California. The crash occurred about 6p Sunday on Highway 20 in rural Stockton. Humbert was driving east on the highway when he crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and crashed head on into an RV carrying the 3 adults and a child.
