Arena Man Arrested On Numerous Charges

Iowa County authorities received a 911 disconnect call on Helena Road in Arena Sunday around 8:45pm. Dispatch attempted to make contact with the caller but there was no answer. The Arena Police Department and Iowa County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the caller’s address. As a result of an investigation, 23 year old Andrew Peterson of Arena was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Felony Substantial Battery with Intent to do Bodily Harm, Felony Strangulation and Suffocation, Felony False Imprisonment, Resisting or Obstructing an officer and a Probation Violation. Peterson was taken to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on the charges.
