About 200 students from nearly two dozen schools took part in the first-ever High School Invitational Trapshoot. The event, hosted by Southwest Tech, was held at the Muscoda Sportsman’s Club last weekend. Staff members Matt Schneider and Dan Imhoff helped organize the invite. They are co-coaches of the Southwest Tech Clay Target Team and serve as directors of the Wisconsin State High School Clay Target League. A team from Melrose-Mindoro took 1st place – Riverdale placed 2nd and River Valley was 3rd. The individual male varsity winner was Hunter Knotwell of Lancaster.
