Iowa County Crash Into Power Pole

A deputy with the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department responded to an incident of a vehicle crash against a power pole and flames visible Wednesday around 12:30am. The Highland Fire Department also responded to the scene to extinguish the fire, and Montfort EMS assisted. Following an investigation of the crash, the driver 34 year old William Rexses of Two Rivers, was arrested for Operating with a Controlled Substance- 2nd offense, and Operating while Revoked. Rexses was taken to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on the charges.
